Ferdinand Magellan's exploration led to the first circumnavigation of the Earth, providing crucial evidence that the world is round and significantly expanding European knowledge of global geography. His voyage also established a new route to the Spice Islands, enhancing trade opportunities for Spain and altering the dynamics of global commerce. However, Magellan himself did not survive the journey, as he was killed in the Philippines, highlighting the dangerous nature of exploration during that era. Ultimately, his expedition paved the way for future explorations and colonial endeavors by European powers.

Ferdinand Magellan's slave, Enrique. Enrique was brought to Europe from the Philippines and became Magellan's slave. he went on the voyage around the world with them, and when Magellan died in the Philippines after going around South America, Enrique jumped ship and swam to an island in the Philippines, roughly the same place he lived before he was a slave. However, people think that Magellan was the first, even though he died before they made it, because he led the voyage.

During Ferdinand Magellan's expedition circumnavigating the globe from 1519 to 1522, there were significant conflicts, particularly with indigenous populations in the Philippines. One notable conflict occurred during the Battle of Mactan in April 1521, where Magellan and his forces clashed with the local chieftain Lapu-Lapu's warriors, resulting in Magellan's death. Additionally, there were internal conflicts among his crew regarding leadership and the direction of the voyage, exacerbated by the challenges of navigating uncharted territories.
Queen Isabella of Spain was dear cousins and very close with Ferdinand Magellen. She was very trustworthy of him and thought that if any one could find new lands that it would be him. Magellan set off on his explorations in hope to find new lands but died in a war in the Phillipines for there land
His ships were the first to circumvent the world. I say his ships because he died in the Philippines and his crew kept going. It took them 2 more years to reach home port.
He going to Europe. He was trying to find a quicker trade route to Asia from Europe and also prove that north and south America was on the other side of the world. Once he got to the tip of south America he died from a battle so his crew went on without him. They went across the pacific ocean and only 2 ships survived to the Spice Islands. Then only 1 made it back to Europe.
christopher Columbus Not even hardly. Chris never set boat on the Pacific Ocean. He made four trips across the Atlantic. He originally thought he was going to Asia but bumped into the Bahamas instead.
