clogged filter, carbon in the intake, foul spark plugs, dirty injectors, or engine failure!! This may be something to do with the catalytic converter. Check for a recall.

Should be in the power distribution block under the hood My fuse box on my 2000 Monte Carlo is at the end of my dash on the drivers side..To acsess the door must be open..

On the 2004 Monte Carlo you may want to check with the dealer but I believe that this car was equipped with electronic steering assist and does not have a belt driven pump
