There definitely were no Middle Ages/Medieval Period in the USA. That name refers only to European history, the era between the Ancient/Classical World and the Modern Era.
The Americas were only discovered by Europeans in the modern era and the USA only started to exist by that name in the modern era, so it can have no medieval history of its own. The USA fought a War of Independence to totally separate and divorce itself from European history/traditions/lifestyle so it would be ironic for Americans today to try to claim that they have any medieval past.
In terms of Native American history, just like the natives of Australia, Polynesia and many parts of Africa, they were essentially a prehistoric people who moved directly from Stone Age technology into the modern era with the arrival of Europeans.
