Who helped in the bayonet constitution?

Lorrin A Thurston wrote this constitution so that the restrictions of just who could vote would apply. This would help his buddy, Sanford Dole to overthrow the government so he could sell his sugar at his price. By the way both Thurston & Dole were first generation Hawaiians. They never met the requirements to maintain their citizenship to The United States. At this time the United States didn't have Dual Citizenship but if your parents were Americans and you were born in Another Country, then you would have to return to the mainland US and live for 5 years. But as it was both of the men got involved in the political structure of Hawaii and even if they had been US citizens, they would have lost that since one can not be an American and hold political office in another country.
