That's a bit of a stereo-type - I, for one treat everyone the same - regardless of race, creed or colour.

However - I'm guessing it's because the 'public image' of Indian (and other Asian) people - is one of Another Country's population deliberately 'targeting' the UK as a destination for 'refugees' - in order to take advantage of our health and welfare system. Other countries between the UK and India (which refugees must pass through in order to arrive here) refuse to accommodate them, and force them to move on.
