Paul Revere joined the Sons of Liberty for economic reasons. He was a silver/goldsmith and his business was suffering due to the Stamp Act that put a tax on everyday products such as newspaper, bills, pamphlets, etc. Because of the money spent on these taxes, ordinary people did not have enough money to spend on luxury items like family crests, silverware sets, bowls and ladles, etc. He wanted to become more politically involved and used his skills as an engraver to do Propaganda engravings such as his famous Boston Massacre cut.
Samuel Adams was a great leader during the revolution. He had the ability to convince colonist to join the sons of liberty. He also was the biggest voice behind the Boston tea party.

They were founding fathers and they helped give the U.S. independance from british tyranny. they were cousins, Sam created, and organized the Sons of Liberty who were the first gang of the Americas. The Sons of Liberty were responsible for the Boston tea party, and nermerous other acts of rebeliousness towards the law. though they were seen as a single force, Sam was the organized leader. John was a lawyer and was married to his true love. he defended many who did not deserve it, but did for it was law and his integrity. he suffered from being manicly depressed most of the time and was against violence, which the Sons were well known for, and his cousins' failed persuations to get him to join the cause. ventually he caved and joined the rebellion against the British.
John Adams attendance through an entire trial showed that he was a Patriots prior to 1770. He watched John Otis defeat the opposing lawyers. The colonists won their fight against a writ that was to become law. John Adams watched and listened to the entire trial, and at the end, he felt ready to join the Patriots.
