The Israelis fought against Iraq in 1948 and against Iraqi foreign regiments in 1967 and 1973. The British and Free French invaded Iraq in 1941 to overthrow the pro-Axis government lead by the Golden Square.

It didn't, the war in Afghanistan began in 2001, the United States didn't invade Iraq until 2003.
