The Battle of Berlin DID NOT START World War 2. The Nazi German attack on Poland in September of 1939 started WW2. The BATTLE of BRITAIN came after the Battle of France and the Polish invasion.

However, Britain began seeking out allies to help them, especially the United States. Winston Churchill, King George and the Parliamentary knew the UK could not survive any attempt to defeat the Nazis. That is when the war began to build up allies against the axis forces.
