Well, there are many reasons that these three men, Toussaint L'Ouverture, Simon Bolivar, and Miguel Hidalgo, were very important to the Latin American Independence Movement. Although, I will sum it up so you won't spend hours reading this:
Freeing Latin America has involed many people. It was a long and hard struggle. Though, many failed, many still ended up succeeding. Toussaint L'Overture tried to free Haiti from France (failed but Haiti did still end up getting their independence), Simon Bolivar tried to free multiple countries, such as Venezuela (succeeded plenty), and last but not least Miguel Hidalgotried to give Mexico's independence for Spain (failed).

Toussaint L'Ouverture led an independence movement among the slaves of Haiti. This movement liberated Haiti from French control. Since Haiti was much more productive than Louisiana, Napoleon lost interest in maintaining control of the American mainland and his dreams were dashed.

Black or African American alone
He was important because he was in battles.
Toussaint L'Ouverture was a key leader in the Haitian Revolution, which ultimately led to the independence of Haiti from French colonial rule in 1804. While he primarily focused on freeing Haiti, his efforts inspired other movements throughout the Americas, influencing the fight for freedom in various Caribbean and Latin American countries. However, he did not directly free any countries other than Haiti, as his main achievement was establishing Haiti as the first independent black-led republic.
