To address the grinding noise from the front wheel of your vehicle, you should first check the brake pads and rotors for wear and damage. If they appear worn or damaged, they may need to be replaced. Additionally, inspect the wheel bearings for any signs of wear or looseness. It is recommended to have a professional mechanic diagnose and repair the issue to ensure proper and safe functioning of your vehicle.
If you vehicle is front-wheel drive, more than likely, that grinding crunching sound when you turn is coming from the CV joints.
i have a grinding noise on the front left wheel. i have taken the calipa off and i have one brake pad that is shot. could it be that or can it still be the bearing. how can i find out.
its coming from the front end from the wheels we thought it was the wheel bearing
Most likely a bad axle
Front grinding is when you and your partner's sexual organs are grinding together. It is more risky than back to front grinding because in front grinding the male's genitals tend to go inside the female's vagina. It is basically having real sex with clothes on.
possibly brake pads worn down
if its a front wheel drive vehicle then it could be the axels
The grinding noise is the brakes pads proably the noise is in the front. The front brake pads are easy to replace and is a do it yourself sort of thing. My guess is your brake light is coming on because of this condition. I assume your brake light has been coming on for a little while now.
Before I can answer that question, can you describe where the ticking noise is coming from? Front of the vehicle? Rear? Engine? Is it coming from your Wheels? If its coming from the front of the vehicle you might require an oil change. If its coming from the rear of the vehicle it could be your axle. If its coming from your wheels it could be either wheel bearings or a backing plate for your brakes. Does it happen at regular intervals? Are they random and sporadic?
You'll hear a howling/grinding sound coming from the front of your vehicle. Depending on which side it is, if the sound goes away when you move your steering wheel to the right its your left hub assembly. If its when you pull steering left its your right assembly.
Could be the brakes are gone or it could be a hub and bearing assembly about to fall off the front of your car.
Front grinding could be a bad wheel bearing or in the front axle assembly.
