Ideally, the valve should settle into a single position once setpoint is reached. A hunting valve over-controls, or goes too far, then reverses in an attempt to the correct overshoot, but goes too far, reverses direction again, and constantly repeats this cycle.
A hunting valve results in poor control, and prematurely wears out the valve's mechanical parts.
Hunting is usually indicative of loop gain too high (PID gain + process gain), or a valve that is oversized for the intended flow, or noisy input signal, or a PID integral term too small.
A TIW valve is a type of safety valve that is used in the oil field. This valve prevents a blow out when drilling for oil.
It's a valve that can open an hydraulic circuit befor the water inside freeze.
A soleniod is a device that produces mechanical motion by electrical induction. They are a coil of wire with either a plunger which is drawn into the coil or a plate that is drawn to a metal core. Most small water valves (like for an icemaker) have a metal plunger which is attached to a valve seat. When off, a spring holds the plunger down closing the valve. When on, the coil draws the plunger up and water escapes from the now uncovered hole to the outlet. Larger valves (like sprinkler valves) contain a small valve described above as a trigger device. They contain a diaphragm that seals the main valve and is held shut by water pressure on the diaphragm. When the trigger valve is opened, it releases the pressure and a light spring pushes the valve open, letting the water through. When the trigger valve closes, the cavity on the non-valve side of the diaphragm refills with water, closing the valve.

use a PID controller
I assume you meant to say "Where is a king valve in refrigeration?" Anyhow, it is usually located downstream from a liquid line receiver.
A valve spring compressor is used to remove collets in a car. The tool compresses the valve springs in the cylinder head of the car allowing the collets to be removed.
Some were following the animals they were hunting and others found signs that they thought meant that was where they were meant to build their civilizations.
2 areas separated by something like a valve.
Technically it is called "HUNTING" which means it is hunting to maintain the SET Pressure and it more like a chattering sound then hydraulic shock (water hammer)
This is the valve of the vena cava inferior and the right atrium, also known as the valvula venae cavae inferioris. It is shaped like a half moon.
I actually meant a target, Sorry.. I didn't mean hunting
A closed heart valve is meant to prevent backflow of blood in the heart. There are valves that separate the atria and ventricles, and valves that separate the ventricles and arteries.
The systemic - as the blood flow that travels through the mitral valve is the oxygenated blood meant for the tissues in the body.
Most women did not hunt during the Middle Ages, but some did. We have artwork showing medieval women who were members of the nobility and royalty hunting. In general when women hunted, they were hawking, which meant that they were hunting birds, but having their hawks catch and kill the birds for them.
