A PVC pipe glue will take at least 4 hours to dry. 12 hours before putting water pressure in it.
You can dig to the pipe, clean it and roughen it, then use purple primer and Weld On 711 to repair it. . I would wait 12 hours for this to cure then do another coat of 711. - I have done this on PVC pipe that was carrying mains water at 85 psi.

Depends where you live. Every governing jurisdiction implements acceptable materials to use at different times. PVC has been an acceptable material for water residential main lines in my area for about 12 years. I live in California. But PVC pipe and application of it has been around for much longer.
I learned a trick when working construction. The cheapest column you can get is a 12" PVC pipe. Buy the pipe, fill it with sand, and install the end caps. You can't tell the difference.
The formula for this goes like this: radius of the pipe squared (32) x pi (3.1416) x length of pipe (12) = volume (amount of water). So 32 x 3.1416 x 12 = 339.2928 or about 339.3 cubic inches.
Yes, it can, this is fairly common. Just use a PVC reducer to connect.
0.1631168The value 0.1631168 is the number of US gallons per foot of 2" pipe. The number of gallons per foot of 4" pipe is 0.652798
To effectively install a PVC French drain in your yard, start by digging a trench at least 12 inches deep and sloping away from the problem area. Line the trench with landscape fabric and place a perforated PVC pipe in the center. Cover the pipe with gravel and top it off with more fabric before filling the trench with soil. This will help improve drainage and prevent waterlogging in your yard.
