I tried the email thing and didn't like it.

I am 17 and have made thousands since I started a year and a half ago. You're going to want to have some sort of product (I chose YouTube videos) and get an AdSense account approved.

Now, the YouTube thing is ADDITIONAL money. I made 4/5 of my revenue from a website, which I created using Google Sites. I create links to my videos and throw up ads on the website. This is a much better source of income than just making YouTube videos.

You will need to promote your website a little bit more though, but I only 'work' for about 30 minutes a day, and often make over $100 daily. Obviously, this doesn't happen every day, but I do make a very nice chunk of money.

Not a simple yes or no answer.

Yes, there are a very few legitimate programs out there that show you how to do this. Sadly, they don't actually 'pay' you to process the emails. They show you how to promote the program in order to get emails of interest from others. Then you 'process' these emails in the hope that the enquirer will go on to purchase membership of the program as you would have done yourself.

So, No. you don't get paid to simply process emails as the title of such programs suggest.

The programs that do exist are basically the old offline chain letter scams or 'buy this program' mail-order programs of old, simply moved online. Because you pay for 'a replicate website', they get around the old laws that made most of these schemes illegal. Let's hope lawmakers catch up with the online scamsters.

The best thing you can do is find a turnkey system that provides everything for you; this is far superior to trying to start things from scratch, especially if you are new to making money online. Look for a system that A) provides you with the knowledge you need, B) provides you with the products you need, and C) provides you with valuable guidance for little-to-no up-front cost (if there is an up-front cost, look for it to be minimal, and for the company to provide a money-back guarantee in case you are unsatisfied).
