I need help finding a job?

Since we know nothing about you, other than that you need help finding a job, it would be difficult to offer any useful advice. It is good to know what kind of work specifically you wish to do, what kind of experience you have, what kind of education you have, where you live, whether you are willing to move in order to get work (the job market in Alberta is very hot) and so forth.

Sadly unemployment is considered to be one of the most difficult socioeconomic problems. I have been unemployed several 3 times and it does not feel good. But don't sit back feeling sorry foe yiurself, there some practical things you can do to increase your chances of finding work. Make sure you have a professional looking resume with your work experience if you have any, education and certifications. Look at resume examples on Microsoft Word, Pages or the internet. If you do not have full time work experience list summer jobs and if you volunteered anywhere or were asked to help anywhere or doing anything. See Awake magazine for ideas and helpful suggestions. Volunteer at a hospital, nursing home, hospice or daycare center recreation center, school, just to get your foot in the door and add to your resume.

if you are looking for a job the best thing to do is know what you want, or what you would have fun with. then just look in local papers and try to find something close to what you like. if there is nothing just find a fun, exciting job that will keep you on your toes but not stressful...that is NEVER a good thing...hope this helps!!

An excellent place to begin is at your county Job Service site. They have training available, help you create an excellent resume and also assist you in your job search. To find your local site do a web search of your state's name and these words: "Workforce Development". Good luck!
