i cannot say what really is tHe fixed salaries of a sea merchant as per internet answer highest salary is 4,500 USD its for the captain position last time i talk to a seaman he told me when you are base in a foreign agency or company for the oiler ship it will be 12,000 USD again for the captain now i think the agencies here in the Philippines cut a very high amount of salary money to their sea merchants in fairness to the agencies its legal what their doing if you do not like what your agencies giving you you better find another agencies and for the side of our filipino sea merchants you must accept that you are a filipino and foreign country consider that we Filipinos and that's the truth and we cannot blame them BeCause filipino are really evil user and magnanakaw/kawatan!
