Hewlett Packard plans to increase their workforce in Costa Rica this year alone to double what they had last year, to a total of 6,000 workers just in this minuscule country. Since the cost of living is much cheaper in these other countries and although the salaries are much less in dollars, one can enjoy a higher standard of living than in the US.
