Seems to me that nobody knows how to apply the law. I am a paralegal. Before I had any legal training in the law, while in prison, I studied alot at the law library and managed to make it into the 6th. Circuit Federal Court of Appeals...fighting the Ohio Attorney General's Office the entire way. My case is still pending, and I also have another case in the 6th. pending for a state prisoner. How can I manage to do these things under such oppressive conditions, when, in fact, nobody else on the other side of the razer wire can? I'm no longer incarcerated of course, because if I were I could not be on the internet. Shame on you so-called advicates for constitutional rights. If if was'NT for prisoners, whom file 90% of all civil right violations in this country, nobody would have any rights left. I suppose, under the circumstances, since it requires about 500 thousand dollars anymore to pay a attorney or law firm to get into the 6th., most regular people either cannot, or willnot gamble their life savings away on a judgment entry. I really can't blame them for that. However, I do blame the legal community as a whole for not standing-up for the rights of citizens, or even prisoners. Are you all now "friends of the court"? The day will come when this will come back upon you, or your grandchildren. May they forgive you.

This depends on jurisdiction. In California, you file an Opposition to a Motion for Summary Judgment - which is a pleading. There are numerous procedural requirements for such a pleading, and great care needs to be taken in drafting this document, given that a Summary Judgment Motion has the potential to decide all of the claims at issue in the litigation.

Nothing. the court gets no money from bondsman. At least not here in california. We only pay the court for summary judgments. When the bond is forfeited and we must pay the bond. And usual court fees, but that's it.
