Initially, the Tate-LaBianca murders looked to be random crimes. But they weren't entirely. Tate's address, 10050 Cielo Dr., was known to Manson, and in fact Manson had been to that house at least once before, less than a year prior to the murders. Terry Melcher, record producer and son of actress Doris Day, lived in the home before it was rented to Tate and her husband, movie director Roman Polanski, who was in Europe at the time of the killings. Manson expected Melcher to sign him to a recording contract and was furious when Melcher gave Charlie's music a 'thumbs down'.
The LaBianca's lived on Waverly Dr., a neighborhood that Manson was familiar with. He knew a neighbor of the LaBianca's and was very familiar with the neighborhood.
No.
1971
The Charles Manson clan.
Hitler is very much like charlie Manson they both murder people and there both idiots
Bobby Beausoleil. He was arrested driving Gary Hinman's car. The police discovered a knife in the car and blood on Beausoleil's clothes. After the murder, Manson realized he could get the kids to murder whoever he wanted to. source: Manson (History Channel special)
Conspiracy to commit murder mean getting together with a bunch of other guys and planning to bump someone off even if you dont do it. If is also just being with someone who commits murder and you don't say a word or even helping with murder.
No. Manson has spent most of his life behind bars but not Alcatraz's bars. The prison closed down in 1963 and I believe Manson was in another state.
The only mystery about the Manson murders is how can the human mind stray so far into the bizzare. Manson has been studied for years by the best that law enforcement and psychiatry have to offer. And still, he does not fit into any known mold or nitche.
Try saying that 5 times fast! :)
As far as anybody knows, Manson's murders were mainly on the West coast, mostly in Southern California. Manson and his followers wandered up and down the west coast from below L.A. to Washington state. There are always unsolved murders and missing persons that are never found, so who knows. You can't hang a man on speculation.
If you are referring to Charles Manson, who was responsible for the murder of several people in the 1960s, yes he is still alive.
Of course he did. The way the law reads, any person that orders the murder of another person is just as guilty as the person that 'does the deed'. Make no mistake, Manson is a murderer. Manson has a long history of violent behavior. In and out of prison, his offences were all serious, most violent. It would be hard to believe that Manson did not kill with his own hands.
