Well, if you are seeking any type of federal,state or legislation job, you may find your self having difficulty making this type of job into a career. Security is everything these days, so once your convicted with any type of charge against you, (including assult) the road to your succes in life will often be blocked. Right now, all I can tell you is to try to do your best to "rename" your self, so to speak..
