yes! we are responsible for our children. with you having the knowledge of his conviction, you are putting your kids at risk, which would fall under the guidelines of neglect. i would leave tonight even if it means you have to go to a shelter. your children are at too great of a risk. you may even be able to get help from your local police dept. or sherriff's dept. as they can sometimes assist in putting you and your kids in a hotel until you can make arrangements for all of your safety. good luck & God be with you.
