National Hispanic Heritage Month celebrates the contributions, culture, and history of Hispanic and Latino Americans in the United States. It runs from September 15 to October 15 and honors the diverse backgrounds of people from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America. This month highlights the achievements and influences of Hispanic individuals in various fields, fostering greater awareness and appreciation of their impact on American society.
Why do Americans celebrate the 4th of July? Mexico was colonized by the Spanish in the 1500's, so much so that the national language is Spanish, so it only makes sense that Mexicans celebrate an Hispanic month, as they are Hispanic.
