This is a response to many sites I've been to. So sorry for the story.

I'd like to say to the responses i've heard, that you aren't judges. You should stop trying to internet hate and judge people you don't know.

Second, I did fail a start up test, and yes it was mouth wash related. I'm sure a lot of people use that as an excuse, but a lot of people use mouth wash as well. I tried non-alcoholic and it tasted terrible and didn't leave me clean like listerene. I started using it an hour before work. It's scary at first but you judgmental beeps don't realize you use this devise day in day out every day for a year. 3 months in I got called in early and didn't even think about it. I got in my car, I blew, blowing a .034. I stood up, washed the ever living hell out of my mouth with (lol) soda, sat back in the car, blew again, and passed. My Interlock company (by the way very good...)informed me that it would be sent to the DVM, but wouldn't show a violation, but would show a fail; however, with the immediate pass it whould suggest that it was not true innebriation, but rather another variable and if it was the first it would likely come with out consequenses.

I'm forwarding this post to all the sites I can simply because the only responses I see for people that are only worried about their lives for christ sake are smirky remarks and coming from people that think they are perfect. People make mistakes, that doesn't make everyone guilty any instant after for the rest of their life. Innocent until proven guilty.

Yours truly,

A good person, a veteran, a person with a family, a life, and a reason to demand their own personal judgement. As for the rest of the lawyers, authorities, and family members of DUI related victims. Quit trolling

Can clear violation on ignition interlock?

Yes, a clear violation of an ignition interlock device occurs when a driver attempts to operate a vehicle without passing the breathalyzer test or when the device detects alcohol. This can result in penalties such as fines, extended license suspension, or criminal charges. Additionally, it may lead to the revocation of the driver's permit to use the interlock device. Compliance with the terms of the ignition interlock program is crucial to avoid these consequences.

What happens if court ordered to have ignition interlock device in car and you get pulled over and ticketed for not having it?

It may depend on what state you are in - if you are operating without the interlock the suspicion/assumption is going to be that you bypassed it for a reason. What reason? Probably because you were under the influence and it would not allow the car to start for you. At the very least you MAY be summarily arrested and taken in for a test to determine your sobriety.

If i have a DUI can i get a restricted motorcycle license?

In Colorado, a DUI results in a period of a complete loss of license followed by a period of restricted license requiring ignition interlock installed on the vehicle. Colorado doesn't allow ignition interlock on motorcycles, so you loose your motorcycle license until you complete your restriction. Then, when permitted to go back to an unrestricted license, you may have to re-apply or re-test for a motorcycle endorsement. I did find that the state of Washington does allow for ignition interlock installed on motorcycles.
