Why do home invasion happen?

Home invasion is a rather dramatic title for what used to be called breaking and entering, or burglary. As Home Invasion is a broader title- this could include situations where unwanted (Guests) might ransack living quarters, assault family members, murder or even torch the premises to destroy the evidence- look at the arson-home invasion in New England - Connecticut as I recall which cost at least three lives . These horrible crimes are on the rise. My advice is get some sort of delayed action police silent alarm that can be triggered without making a lot of noise. As one might guess this(Upscale) brand of terror crime has long been food for thought by Hollywood in the film noir lane. related subjecte included a sadistic film about a woman being assaulted ( probably raped) in an elevator during a temporay power outage only effecting that building ( thus not a major crime alert) an alarm was set off but everybody ignored except a gang of thieves, this was called Lady in a Cage. Film starred Olivia De Havilland, a top drawer ( not in that sense!) actress.
