There is no such thing as a platoon in the Air Force. The basic organization within the Air Force is called a Squadron. That said, many (but not all) military installations throughout the DoD have what is called a Base Locator phone number. It can be used to locate specific personnel, or it can also be used to contact the member's Squadron Commander or First Sergeant.
