Burning alive is a terrifying way to die. We all remember those horrifying images on 9/11 from the World Trade Center, people seemingly making the choice to jump over 100 stories to certain death rather to burn alive. Although I only watched on TV like most, I remember the sounds of the bodies hitting the ground… I will tell you in a fire... especially if you are burning alive… you are not able to make choices. When the air is being sucked out of your lungs by the flames and smoke, your skin starts to melt, burning hair crackles and pops for a few seconds like a million little sparklers and than it's gone, right than terror and Horror start to push you to run. If you have never felt this you can't understand, if you have felt it, you can't forget. Terror pushes you to run, to jump, to do what ever it takes to get away.
