I have been working as Receptionist for almost 7 years and I have to say it is the most enjoyable job I have ever had. it won't really affect your lifestyle, although you may want to talk on the phone less when you are at home, but other than that, nothing will really change. Working as a Receptionist takes the patience of Jobe, so that may cross over into your life away from work. Also perhaps overall communication skills can improve since this is a large part of the position.
