In New Jersey, children under the age of 8 and under 57 inches tall are required to ride in a child safety seat or booster seat in the back seat of the vehicle. However, there is no specific law in New Jersey that states an age requirement for sitting in the front seat of a vehicle. It is recommended that children under 13 years old sit in the back seat for safety reasons.
NJ has state mandated coverage, and PA does not.The NJ disability plan covers NJ workers, not NJ residents. Check your paystub, and you will see that no deductions are being taken out for NJTDI.Short term disability insurance is available through private insurers for PA workers.
It would be recommended that you read and follow the rules of a top NJ based insurance company. This means learning the insurance laws, technicalities and statistics. As some states may differ in laws, NJ may have distinct laws that, say, Georgia, may not. To learn about NJ car insurance and their policies, I would recommend visiting the NJ state site, which could be found here; www.state.nj.us/dobi/division_consumers/.../everythingauto2006.pdf
No, a pregnant minor is not automatically considered emancipated in New Jersey. Emancipation in NJ is a legal process by which a minor is declared independent of parental control. Simply being pregnant does not confer emancipation status.

Your too young
In New Jersey, a child must be at least 8 years old or weigh 80 pounds to sit in the front seat of a vehicle. Additionally, they must also be properly restrained in a seatbelt. It's recommended to keep children in the back seat until they reach the age of 13 for optimal safety. Always check the latest safety regulations, as they can change.
i am not from NJ but i know that in most countries e.g. London etc children are not allowed to sit in the front at the age of 1 - 8 because it can be dangerous and most children open the handle of the door car and and be dangerous and this situation will be discussed by parents and also be charged alot of money e.g. 500 pounds to be sure you can ask polices for the law as well thankss
It's not about how tall you are, this is from the NY State Ploice website. New York's Occupant Restraint laws require the following: Children up to the age of 4 must be properly restrained in a federally approved child safety seat that is attached to a vehicle by a seat belt or universal child restraint anchorage (LATCH) system. Children less than age 4 but weighing more than 40 pounds may be restrained in a booster seat with a lap/shoulder safety belt. Children ages 4, 5, 6 and 7 must be properly secured in an appropriate child restraint system, one for which the child meets the height and weight recommendations of the child restraint manufacturer.* An appropriate child restraint system is one that meets the child's size and weight recommended by the manufacturer. A vehicle's safety belt is NOT a child restraint system. Children riding in booster seats must be secured with a combination lap/shoulder seat belt, NEVER secure a child in a booster seat with only a lap belt. From the age of 8 until they reach their 16th birthday, children must be restrained in a seat belt when they ride in the back seat. Front seat passengers must be properly restrained at all times, regardless of age. Children 12 years and younger should ride in the back seat. By simply buckling up your child in the back seat reduces his/her risk of death by 33%. *It is recommended that booster seats be used until your child is 4 foot 9 inches tall or weighs 100 pounds.
