So while the teacher should be reported, school administrators might only give a minor verbal warning to the teacher. Try to talk to the teacher first. He or she just might apologize--maybe they had a bad day. If talking to the teacher doesn't resolve the problem, you can report it. However, you should also be sure your own words and behavior are respectful and be able to put yourself in others' shoes. If you acted in a "stupid" manner, you may need to apologize. But you shouldn't be called stupid.
