It all depends on how you approach it and from what angle you approach it. Keep in mind that the law must exist for the benefits and welfare of everyone in a community. Different groups make a community, so there must be some compromise to ensure that at least some demands of each group are met. However, the law is more or less a utilitarian system, the greatest good for the greatest amount of people is the main rule of thumb. However, the minorities must not be ignored either, because the system would appear inhumane and unjust, which reflects poorly on the country as a whole.
