Lombroso's theory although it was a long time ago, reinforced the stereotype and suggests that if you look a certain way it means that you are more likely to become or already are a criminal. he spent alot of time in Prisons and came to believe that the majority of criminals have : high cheek bones. Large ears. Large jaws. flat nose and narrow and low forehead. and although an awful lot of studies came to disprove his theory we still to the day use it. for example if you saw a man who carried all these features walking down a road or if they entered a shop you were in you would instantly be weary. i believe that lombroso unitentionally caused a wave of suspision and hate crime over innocent people. and therefore hits the cliche never judge a book by its cover. So overall although i am only a 16 year old. i have studied the causes of crime for over a year. and this is my belief on lombroso.
