If you are referring to child support payments - regardless of whether your minor is 21 or not. If you owe back-support, you will ocontinue to owe it until you are caught up to whatever would have been the final amount of the final payment at his 21st birthday. The interest will continue to accrue until your obligation is paid off.

I'm not familiar with any restriction on your getting or possessing a passport just because you owe back child support. Especially if you need it to earn your livliehood. Without it your ability to earn a salary to pay child support is restricted. Are you sure you've looked into this throughly?

If a person was sued many years ago for child support but recently the arrears were suspended by the court can this be removed from their credit report by going through a dispute process?

I believe credit accounts are not removied from your credit report unless they are not your accounts (fraud) to being with. The credit bureaus should be able to notate that the account has been suspended, cleared, or paid in full with regards to that account. You can also place a message of your own in your credit report that anyone can see when they pull your credit. Also, accounts are not deleted from your credit report until they run their course. It can be 7-10 years depending upon what type of collection account it is.

Can the ex wife inherit the estate when the exhusband died without a will?

You would need to consult an attorney (lawyer), but probably not as the wife is no longer next of kin. When someone dies intestate (without a will) the property is managed by the state who will distribute it to the deceased's next of kin (children first, then brothers sisters - cousins etc) following the laws of the country. An ex wife is no longer really in the picture - BUT if you have had children with the husband, they will be entitled to inherit. However, an ex-wife could calaim against her deceased ex-husband's estate for child support arrears or for financial obligations in the divorce decree that were not satisfied. If you feel this applies to you, you should consult with your divorce attorney who could review your situation and determine what your options are.
