It can be but I am not so sure myself. I think they are both pretty similar but it is up to you to decide to which suits you best. The more you keep practicing on it the easier it is for you. I don't know, I was trying to figure out which to take in high school. I wanted French (cause it's cool), but my mom wanted Spanish, so I'm taking Spanish.

AnswerSpanish is somewhat easier than French for an English-speaking beginner to pronounce. It has only one silent letter and only a few sounds that do not occur in English. Grammatically the two are about equal, with Spanish perhaps a bit more difficult, owing to the fact that its verbs take personal endings instead of personal pronouns, and it uses the subjunctive mood more.

On the other hand, French is far more interesting and more closely related to English. Also, there is undoubtedly a great deal of very important Spanish literature, but it has nothing like the depth and breadth of French literature. For elegance, grace and style, nothing beats French, which has been the language of European civilization for centuries.

I think french is easier i am taking french and i dropped spanish in yr 9 so i have done both and i really think your better off with french.

As a native English speaker is French or Spanish easier to learn as a second language?

For a native English speaker, Spanish is generally considered easier to learn as a second language compared to French. This is because Spanish has simpler grammar rules, more regular pronunciation, and many cognates (words that are similar in both languages).

Is french easier than spanish?

The difficulty of learning a new language can vary for each individual, but many people find French and Spanish to be similarly challenging. Both languages share some similarities, such as common vocabulary roots and grammar rules, which can make them easier to learn if you already know one of them. Ultimately, the ease of learning a language depends on your personal background and learning style.

What is easier to learn Portuguese or spanish?

I think it'd be easier to learn Spanish but it'd more interesting to learn Portuguese. I want to learn stuff where it isn't the norm.If you are going to learn ONE language, you will find that Spanish is much more useful. It is also a bit easier to learn. However, if you want to learn BOTH, learn Portuguese first and then later learn Spanish. The good thing about Portuguese is that once you know it you can understand Spanish as well (not perfectly, but a good portion of it). This does not work in reverse, Spanish speakers can understand almost nothing of Portuguese.I am currently in Brazil learning Portuguese for the same reason: it is more out of the norm to know Portuguese than to know Spanish. I stand out and I like that. However, after learning Portuguese I know that it will be relatively easy for me to learn Spanish, so that will be my next goal.Portuguese is much more harder to understand depending on your origin. If you're american or english, I'm pretty sure Spanish is a lot easier, as HUNDREDS of english words originated from Spanish. On the other hand, if you're from eastern europe (Romanian, Ukrainian, etc.), Portuguese will be a walk in the park, since there's many alphabetical and phonetical similarities. Besides, phonologically and even in written terms, spanish is much more fluent and easy to grasp than portuguese anyway.

Why is English easier to learn than spanish?

English is no easier to learn than Spanish, or any other language of the Indo-European group that uses Latin letters, since for languages that use some alphabet other than the Latin one, you also have to go through learning a new alphabet. If you speak a lot of Germanic languages, English would be easier to learn than Spanish, but for someone who speaks more Romance languages, Spanish would be much easier to learn. It's all in what you already know language-wise as to whether or not you find a language difficult--besides, for English, you have to deal with far more vocabulary and a more complex system of grammar.

How do you learn spanish words?

Learn pronunciation of the Spanish alphabet. Spanish being phonetic, this will then make it easier than in English, French or German, to know how to pronounce the words (many of which are very similar, or identical, to their English equivalents, but pronounced differently).

French or Spanish?

Answer: While Spanish has more total speakers, French has a wider distribution of speakers around the globe and is spoken on every continent. French is easier to learn than Spanish; the latter has more irregular verbs, four words that mean 'you', two words that mean 'for', etc. French also sounds nicer.

Which is better to learn spanish or french?

Answer: Spanish is spoken in all of Latin America (excluding Brasil and Belize), much of the Carribean, by a growing Hispanic community in the United States, and in Spain. French is spoken in Québec, New Brunswick, northern Maine, Louisiana, much of the Carribean, many Pacific islands, France, Belgium, Switzerland, dozens of countries in Africa, southwest Asia, and in Lebanon and Syria. French was the lingua franca of the world before English and some believe Spanish will be the next lingua franca. Bot languages are probably the most useful languages in the world after English so you can't go wrong with either of them.

Should you take French or Spanish?

Italian, French and Spanish are all romance languages (they are in the same family). If I were you I would learn Spanish first, mostly because there are alot more places and people in the world that speak spanish than italian...but as far as ease of learning, they are about the same.
