Utauloid's and Utau are similar to the Vocaloid program and characters.
Utau is the free version of program Vocaloid. It allows the user to either take a premade voicebank, or to create their own Utau using voiceclips. The program is available for download and tutorials on how to do so as well as how to work it can be found on YouTube and other sites. Simply googling 'Utau Program Download' will point in the right direction. However, as it is a free program, the voices available for use are not as nice and polished as the Vocaloid's voicebanks. But since Vocaloid can run up to over $100 to buy, many choose to go with Utau.
As such, an Utauloid is an approved Utau voicebank, which has it's own website and character art. A few recognizable Utauloids are Kasane Teto, Kasane Ted, Momone Momo and Defoko. While it is possible for anyone to make their own Utauloid, the Utau wiki will only acknowledge those with the fore mentioned prerequisites (A website where the voicebank may be downloaded, character art and possibly a few other things that I can't remember at this time.)
Done! =3
Oliver the Vocaloid does not have an official last name.
No. "Megpoid" is the name of the software itself. The name is derived from Megumi Nakajima, the vocal sample provider. Gumi, is the character and doesn't have an established last name. Similar to the way Megpoid is named, Internet Co. Ltd, also has Gackpoid and Gachapoid.
The difference is simple - Two different programs created by two different companies. UTAU came after Vocaloid. While the programs do the same thing the characters are different (For example, Miku Hatsune is a Vocaloid and Teto Kasane is a UTAU) and if you try loading a UTAU into the Vocaloid program it won't work.
NONE, she doesn't have any last name.
UTAU is basically fan-made vocaloids. The better made they are, the more popular. But these vocaloids sound more robotic. Vocaloids like Neru and Haku and just higher and lower versions and Rin and Miku. They are classified as UTAU because they are fan-made, but have clearer voices because they are from official vocaloids. Vocaloid is official software that can be bought, while Utau is downloadable and free. some say vocaloids are easier to use than UTAUloids. Glad i could help!
You install a Vocaloid like any other piece of software. Price varies depending on the Vocaloid but can be as much as $200. You have to pay for Vocaloid, unless you illegally download it. However there is a program called UTAU that is similar to vocaloid and lets you create your own UTAUloid rather then just the one voice
No. You have to pay for it. If you are looking for something similar, try downloding UTAU, which is freeware.
Yes, Ai is a vocaloid. A vocaloid 3 to be exact.
Vocaloid fans like Vocaloid. Vocaloid fans are located around the world. Vocaloid fans also have a tendency to like Japanese animation (anime) and comics (manga).
Piko is the name of both the Vocaloid and the voice provider, who is naturally not a Vocaloid.
No Teto is not a Vocaloid. I have heard before that She was made to be a prank. She is mistaken to be a Vocaloid. She sounds like a Vocaloid(y) software.
People are not sure if the second VOCALOID for the 1st generation was LEON or LOLA. They were both released on the same day. For VOCALOID 2nd generation, Hatsune Miku was the second VOCALOID after Sweet ANN. Lastly the VOCALOID 3rd generation, VOCALOID SeeU is the 2nd after MEW.
Kenmochi Hideki is the maker of vocaloid.
teto was relased in april 1 st as a ''new member of vocaloid'' it was in aprilfools day i think it was some kind of joke for vocaloid fans ''oh look a new vocaloid'' she is actually utauloid. But i have no idea if teto's birthday is at 1.4 or 9.4 I'M NOT SURE!
No, Akiakane is a Nico Nico Singer; not a Vocaloid.
Yes. Criticism is everywhere. You can find it on Youtube Videos, Vocaloid communities, ect.
No, Vocaloid is not an anime. Vocaloid is a singing voice synthesizer software that allows users to create songs and vocals using virtual characters. However, Vocaloid characters have been featured in various anime and manga series.
