A word that has the same meaning as another word is a synonym.
Some words that contain the root word "onym" are synonym (meaning a word with a similar meaning), antonym (meaning a word with the opposite meaning), and homonym (meaning a word that sounds the same but has a different meaning).
The root word meaning "nerve" is "neur-" from the Greek word "neuron" meaning sinew or nerve.
The word "pestilence" has a root meaning plague, which comes from the Latin word "pestis" meaning plague.
The connotative meaning of a word refers to the emotions, associations, or implications that the word carries beyond its literal definition, while the denotative meaning is the literal definition or primary meaning of the word.

You cannot really translate samosa into English because it doesn't really have a meaning, its just a name of a food. However, people still call it samosa in England and if you go and ask someone is a shop about samosas they would probably be very likely to know what a samosa is because samosas are sold in UK and still called samosas. BASICALLY IN ENGLISH THEY STILL CALL IT A SAMOSA BECAUSE IT IS JUST A NAME OF A FOOD. hope this helps!
samosa
It's the same spelling as the English so, "samosa"
samosa.... every noun hav its own name...kk
Samosa originated in the Middle East, most likely in the Persian Gulf area.
Samosa can be eaten plainly or dipped with something. I prefer you dip the Samosa in a chutney maybe. Or you can just eat it plainly. And i recommend that you microwave it first because it may be cold.
