If the Vaultz lock box has a combination lock, you need the combination to open and/or reset it. If it has an actual key lock, one can be ordered from the company.
First, unlock and open the glove box if possible<*>. Next, look at the back side of the lock the are two diagonal screws holding the lock assembly to the glove box door, remove the screws/bolts on the lock and remove lock assembly. <*>If you cannot open your glove box beforehand u will need a flat head screw driver to pry it open.

Well, darling, grab a paper clip and straighten that bad boy out. Now, locate the reset button on the inside of the lock box and press it with the paper clip. Enter a new combination, making sure to write it down this time, and voila! Your Vaultz lock box should open like a charm.
Open the glove box, unscrew the three screws next to the lock, tap lightly and it will come out.

To open a Vaultz lock box, first ensure you have the correct combination or key. If it has a combination lock, turn the dial to the right several times to reset, then enter the combination by turning the dial to the left and right as specified. If it uses a key, simply insert the key into the lock and turn it. Always refer to the user manual for specific instructions related to your model.
I have a vintage lock box with two dials, I know the combination but I can not figure out how many times to spin the dials.

To remove the glove box lock from a 1971 Nova, first, open the glove box and locate the lock mechanism. You'll typically find a retaining screw or clip securing the lock in place; remove this using the appropriate screwdriver or tool. Once the screw or clip is removed, you can carefully pull the lock cylinder out of the glove box. If necessary, consult a repair manual for detailed illustrations specific to your vehicle.
