I own a Lhasa Apso and I wanted to give her a puppy cut. I wanted to avoid wasting money, but every website i looked at said not to do it myself but to take her to the groomers. Well, I gave up on the internet and just decided to give her a one inch shave. I did it and it ended up looking pretty much like a puppy cut. We used a #8 but we shaved her with a human shaver. Do their legs, their stomachs, and their face if they will hold still. If they don't just comb their face hair out so it stands straight up and take it between your fingers and cut it. be careful of their ears and tail and eyes. It takes a little whil but its worth saving the money!
Take your dog to your local groomer and ask them to give her/him a puppy cut. They should know what it is. You can also look online at pictures of yorkie puppy cuts and bring them a picture of what you are looking for.
A Shorkie adults tail only gets cut when it is frightened. A puppy does not.
The Lhasa Apso usually has long hair. So unless your pooch's hair has been cut short, they need to have a bath at least once a month. And please for the love of your dog, brush them daily!!
for looks
When they aren't looking
No it will cut its mouth
Unless it licked a cut while the puppy had rabbies then no.
He'll probably bite you. I would.
Many owners will keep their Maltese puppies clipped in a "puppy cut," a 1 - 2" all over trim that makes the dog resemble a puppy. This is the only cut I am aware of.
First off, cut down on the food supply. Resist those begging eyes at the table and refuse to give it any scraps. Walk your puppy more often, it's not only beneficial for the puppy, but you too! When you think your puppy is well trained and old enough, bring it to a dog park. Let it interact with other dogs. Remember, what you feed your dog with affect it, it's whole life. So be careful!
From what i have learned.. #10 for face and a #7 on back, that's if you want a puppy cut and not show cut..
You can give him most things but make sure that hes not allergic to it. Also make sure that if its to big you cut it up into small pieces. OK. got it. ps. DONT FEED HIM CHOCOLATE AND RASINS
