Well, it would probably be best to take him to a vet to find out a professional way (a vet may proscribe medicine) to loose weight, but, other than that; cut down on pellet food (dont cut down on hay; that should always be available, and dont cut down to much on the veggies, and take the piggy out more so he can exercise.

To get your piggy to lose weight, firstly check its actual weight at the moment and determine if the Guinea Pig is already healthy. If it is overweight, avoid feeding it fruit and put it on a strict diet of just broccoli, arugula (But only a small amount), beets (Only a small amount as well), and LOTS of timothy hay.
