American Pit Bull Terrier

Yes they can. And have beaten them throughout history!
assuming that the APBT means "abandoned puppy bull terrier", you will need a dogbed, doggy feeding bowls (one for water, one for food), flea powder, and lots of patience!
I've seen two confirmed Dachshund/American Pit Bull Terrier crosses, both had the short legs with apbt coloring and a apbt head with a slightly longer snout.
Red nose is just a color of the nose. It is a strain.
American Staffordshire Terrier / American Pit Bull Terrier
Domestic dogs: 320 LBS of pressure (a GSD, APBT and Rott were tested using a bite sleeve with the computer intrument in it. The APBT had the LEAST amount of pressure of the 3 dogs!!) There hasn't been a test on a Aussie as of yet.
As far as I am concerned, the name German pit is not a result of apbt dogs brought to Germany.
Gotti is a former APBT bloodline, and is now best regarded as an American Bully bloodline as most are no longer correct specimens of the APBT breed and show evidence of cross-breeding and breeding away from standard for Bully characteristics. It is a bloodline similar to and often seen in the same pedigrees as Razors Edge and Greyline dogs.
It would be pretty even but I think the pitbull because it is faster and more agile but then again American bulldogs bite are much stronger due to head size so it would be almost even but the Pitbull would win
Not really. If you got a dog from the newspaper or someone down the street's litter of pit bulls, she may very well be mix-bred. Anyhow, at 8months old, your dog is not finished growing. She will fill out, adding another 5 to 15pounds onto her current weight. She could be a APBT/AmStaff cross, or an AmStaff, although she still may be a APBT; just she's kind of heavy for the breed; probably because her parents/ancestors were bred larger. Most APBT SHOULD be 45-65lbs at 2yrs of age. Just as long as she's agile and fit, she might still be an APBT, and still be great pet or working dog.
I have seen some sites that say blue eyes are not accepted and others that do not mention blue eyes as a fault. Two different color eyes are also in question...they are a disqualification. Most think the Blue Eyes indicate a mix...especially in a Merle Coat. I have a dog I found by the pound that looks just like an APBT of the Bluenose color. His eyes were very blue when young. Now they have a hint of green but can be mistaken for blue. Otherwise he meets the "conformation" guidelines for an APBT. I don't really care that I can not "register" him so it really doesn't matter to me as far as that goes. I might do a Wisdom DNA test to find out the ancestory/breed history of Diesel just out of "the need to know".
