It depends on the cat because sometimes she'll shoe them away herself but she could keep them.
The best, and possibly most effective thing to do, is to keep shoe strings out of reach of the cat. Most cats like to chew on string-like objects, especially if they're dangling from somewhere. Trying to stop a cat in any other way is unlikely to work, as a cat will likely just chew it when you are not around.
Well I would say the most convenient store to buy ugs at is the sterling (the cat) shoe store! they have good prices and they really understand your shoe needs.
