Why do people get pet cats?

People like cats because there cute and cuddly. Some people like dogs better than cats. And some people like cats better than Dogs. Most people like kittens, or puppy's

I like kittens and cats. Cats are adult cats and kittens are baby cats. There are lots of diffrent types. And lots of unreal breeds of cats. every person likes somthing. Most people like cute things. Cats started to be found out in 1500.So that's why people like cats so much.

Well, the Egyptians worshipped them, then anyone in the Dark Ages hated them and then 1/3 of Europe died because they killed the diseased mouse killing cats, and today we once again love them. I have an article somewhere in My Documents talking about it, I'll be right back...

I'd say, simply put, we love cats because cats love us. Just sayin'.

Cats are quite independent, but yet very lovable and loyal animals. You can leave them at home all day while you're working, they will miss you, but you can rest assure they are not going through some anxiety of separation issue. Most likely they are napping, chasing "something" around the house while running at full speed or they are playing with their toys or exploring something that has caught their attention or just being naturally curious by looking out the window.

They are cool to have. They love cuddling next to you or laying on top of whatever it is you are reading. They are needy, but only for a little while, not constantly like dogs are.

Cats are quite healthy creatures and tend to live long healthy lives if they are spayed or neutered and live exclusively indoors. They are very low maintenance compared to dogs. Still you have to take them to the vet, feed them high quality foods, groom them and exercise them, but all in smaller doses than a dog. I've had dogs before and I love them, too, but for all the aforementioned reasons cats are the pets I prefer to have around.

Spay and/or neuter your pets. They deserve long, healthy lives.
