As per Wikipedia, the answer COULD be Yes but it would require that Walgreen's resurrect 9+ yr old footage and re-purpose it in a new commercial. It's not clear if the service(s) being advertised in 2009 were even available in 2000. The woman w/ "Daisy" the dog in the current Walgreen's ad looks (and sounds) a great deal like Nancy Marchand and the technology exists to place old footage in a new commercial. The question is still under investigation pending a response from Walgreen's. Hello, on August 20, 2009. The lady in question is a Chicago-area actress named Ann Whitney. She is a buddy of mine, and was all excited last spring to get the audition, and then the spot (but she complained about the shoes they made her wear). Another tidbit of info- the dog was supposed to be called charlie, but its real name is daisy, and every time she said "to spend more time with Charlie", daisy would ignore her, so they changed that part to the dog's real name.
