no choclate is not a reason for cough but after eating choclate dont dink any colddrink or water
I find that i cough after eating chocolate regardless of the position I am in. The more dense the chocolate, the more sever my cough. I was trying to find out if it is some kind of allergy. As I get older the cough has become more severe. It is of enough concern at this point that I am comtemplating giving up chocolate. YIkes! Same here..it has become more severe with age and I, too, have considered giving up chocolate. I love dark chocolate. The higher the cocoa content the more immediate the cough starts...any ideas why? I keep reading that chocolate will stop a cough!
White chocolate itself is not known to trigger a cough directly. However, it contains sugar and fat, which can sometimes lead to throat irritation for some individuals, particularly if consumed in large quantities. Additionally, if someone has a sensitivity to dairy, the milk solids in white chocolate might also contribute to coughing. Overall, individual reactions can vary, but white chocolate is generally not a common cough trigger.
When lying down at night, your cough can get worse. There are three reasons for a cough getting worse at night. The first reason is gravity, the second reason is the dry indoor environment, and the third reason is the human body naturally getting rid of congestion.

something is wrong - call your doctor!
would be a sad world if you were denied Chocolate. Unless you have an allergy, there is no reason to avoid your chocolate!

There is no reason not to use Nasonex when you have a cold or cough. It may help some, but it is not intended as treatment for a cold. If you are prescribed this medication, use it as prescribed with or without a cold.
