As you know, it is normal in infants and young boys to have tight foreskins. However, usually by puberty the foreskin has grown enough to be able to slide back completely over the head of the penis. Having a tight foreskin isn't a problem unless it causes pain, discomfort, or is difficult to keep clean. If your 14 year old son is complaining that his foreskin can not go back all the way, then it is likely causing problems for him.
The easiest way to treat a tight foreskin (known medically as phimsois), is to gradually stretch the opening of the foreskin over a period of weeks or months with the use of a corticosteroid cream. This can be done by your son at any time. Many boys find it convenient to do so after their daily bath or shower. The opening of the foreskin is gradually stretched with a finger until the opening is large enough. The corticosteroid cream helps speed the growth of the skin as the opening expands in size. Your pediatrician can prescribe betamethasone cream, and this is the best option. However, if you don't have medical insurance, hydrocortisone cream 1.0%, which is available without a prescription, can be used as well.
You can find more detailed instructions on how to stretch the foreskin, written for adolescent boys and adults, by searching on Wikianswers for "How do you stretch your foreskin?"
Clinical research has shown that gradual stretching with a corticosteroid cream is successful at stretching the foreskin in well over 90% of cases. Circumcision, a surgical procedure to cut off the foreskin, is very rarely necessary. Circumcision should not be used as initial treatment because it has medical risks including acute pain, infection, prolonged bleeding, and a painful two week recovery period. Thankfully, most boys are able to avoid this painful surgery with the use of gradual stretching.
That is perfectly normal, and nothing to worry about.
You may need a circumcision if you have a tight foreskin. Do not force it out as this could be very painful and damaging. If you have tried gently moving the foreskin back n forth and it will not freely go over the glans then ask to see your doctor who will be best to advise you.
A thin membrane (the frenulum, commonly called the "banjo string") normally joins the underside of the glans (head) to the inside of the foreskin. This may pull the lower foreskin more or less towards the glans on erection. If it is tight, it may tear, sometimes bleeding alarmingly, but this usually fixes the problem. Or a doctor my add a nick to free it. It is in most men very much stretch and slide-able. Regards.
I do not think you have anything to worry about. If you were asking these questions at age of 18 or 20 years, then I could understand your concerns. Just give yourself a few years and you should be ok. As for the foreskin not retracting, you know, it is so silly to think that you have to do things to hurt yourself or to be like somebody else. Just because someone says you have to retract your foreskin why do you think you have to do it? The reasoning is not correct that if a foreskin isn't retractable it can cause problems with cleaning and sex, and if it doesn't retract it's not functioning properly. There actually are millions of men in the world at any one time, myself included, who do not retract their foreskin. I have a number of current patients in a similar condition and have, in the past, treated men in Europe, Asia and other countries with the condition of tight foreskin. Not one that I have personally met and not one that I have ever read about has a problem with cleaning. Nor do they have problems with masturbation or sex. And I have to join with them in saying that it is ridiculous to suggest that our penises are not functioning properly. Your penis and your foreskin are a unique team. They work together almost always in perfect harmony. Some guys have a foreskin that retracts, so they retract it. Some guys have a foreskin that does not retract, so they leave it alone. Some guys have had their foreskin removed and no longer have a choice. If you are watching videos, then the guys are probably porn stars and they do so much drugs and other stuff that their sexuality is no longer normal in any case. I would not worry about them. If your foreskin does not easily retract, do not try to force it to. It does not have to. You do not have to pull the foreskin back to put a condom on, to masturbate, or to have sex. It is an absolute nonsense to think so. Only fools will tell you this is necessary. Some people label a tight foreskin as phimosis. Generally people with a tight foreskin do not have phimosis, they just have a tight foreskin. There are millions of guys in the world with this condition which is quite normal. The only abnormal thing is when you try to stretch a foreskin that does not need to be stretched or try to use medications that rarely have any beneficial result. The unfortunate thing is that retraction has been taught, mainly in USA, because personal hygiene was not taught. Washing a penis with the foreskin covered (not retracted) is very easily achieved and very efficient. Any boy or man can be shown how to do it if they are having a problem. The same goes for masturbation or sex. Many will argue that it is much more effective and it certainly feels great. I cant compare it to an open foreskin, because I have never done it that way. Just leave your foreskin as it was intended to be. Anything you do to yourself that hurts is normally not a good thing to do, so don't do it.
it is very unlikely that he was circumcised.
you could try circumcision, but that's up to youAnswerThe foreskin is a shield to protect the penis from damage, as sexual reproduction is greatly needed in evolution and to keep the mammal's race existent, in this case, a human. When the foreskin gets stuck to the penis, the head of the penis might be incredibly dirty or might of even covered the entire head. But the foreskin can only cover the head of the penis, it is joined to the lower Frenulum. The head of the penis is called the penial glands.Without the foreskin it is very difficult to masturbate. When the foreskin is pulled far enough, it can actually stretch down the entire penial shaft, but cannot reach the scrotum in a fully erected penis. The foreskin may remain tight, but pulling the foreskin gradually, further and further each day. Some people are scared of their foreskin from being pulled away for the first time. This is common. But if the penis is damaged and / or infected it is strongly advised to visit your doctor in sexual or penial medicine, usually located in a hospital.
A Very Tight Place was created in 2008.
The penis of a newborn child has not entirely finished in its development and is usually at that stage still firmly attached to the glans penis like the fingernails are to the finger. this is a natural way for the penis to be and in time the foreskin comes away from the glans. there is no need to be concerned about it not retracting. the foreskin is likely to become retractable within the first few years of life but may take until or after puberty to do so. once the penis is used for sexual intercourse or masturbation however there are definite advantages in the foreskin being able to be retracted. and if it turns out that it is too tight to pull back over the glans and back again then it is time to undergo some "foreskin stretching exercises". just look up foreskin stretching on the internet and you will find many pages that will give you first class advice. The first thing to remember is that the foreskin is a very important part of the penis, its function, its protection and very importantly its performance for both yourself and your pardner. IF this about not being circumcised, then not being circumcised is perfectly natural and safe. Many millions of men live that way w/o any problem.
very tight because it is pushed together
No they are not very tight together they are not as tight as the solid but not as spredded out as gas.
She won't be swollen anymore...Her belly should also be very tight while she is pregnant, if it is not as tight anymore she probably had them. ____________________________ if recently, check for blood on your cat's buttox. if so, its a good chance, or its a problem with feceas. (poop) metalumbreon
Yes it is a problem but not one that cant be overcome The foreskin and the glans of the penis are designed to work together. that means when you are having sex the foreskin actually rolls backwards and forwards over the glans of the penis. The glans are very sensitive and are responsible for much of the pleasure in sex and masturbation however so is the foreskin and when their mucous surfaces rub over each other it is extremely stimulating for the man. this movement of the foreskin over the head of the penis is also a pleasure for his female pardner. So you should endeavor to loosen your foreskin. Al you need do to get some info to get you started it to go to the top of this page and ask "how do you loosen your foreskin" and all will be revealed. This is fairly common among uncircumcised men. Sex may be painful, but if a condom is used (which one should be used anyway) it will prevent any discomfort.I don't know if sex is less pleasurable, but I know that if there is less stimulation that could be a blessing in disguise as it could help the man last longer which should make everyone happier.
