What country was innocent during world war 2?

Well innocent and innocent, when it comes to WW II there is no one innocent. Sweden for example tried to maintain a neutrality towards everything (you can really notice the "viking" ancestry there) allowed the Nazis to march through their country, in the hopes that Swedish people would be spared, and into the lands of their Norwegian brethren. This of course made the Nords pretty PO'd. There are of course countries like Spain and turkey who were somewhat less responsible, but if you witness such blatant disregard for human life and you don't do anything. That would make you pretty responsible.

How many innocent lives died in world war 2?

The vast majority of the people who died during World War II were innocent civilians. It is estimated that at least 50 million died during the six years of fighting. A true accounting may never be known.

How many innocent people did the Nazis kill?

Here is a sample of the amounts of innocent people the Nazi's killed. This includes women, children, elderly people and men. I consider the military people to be innocent too because they did not start the war and they had to go to Europe to liberate the Europeans, Africans and Russians from the evil atrocities and oppression done by the Nazis. Jews Murdered: Over 6 Million in the concentration camps, trains, homes and in the public. "Undesirables" Murdered: The Nazis killed 5 million people they considered undesirable for their 1000 year Third Reich empire. They were deaf, blind, disabled, people with birth defects, mentally ill, developmentally ill or brain damaged, people with low intelligent quotients, anyone who was Slavic, Traitors to the Reich, political prisoners, underground resistance people, civilians who would not turn in traitors or resistors and relatives of the traitors. There were 20 million Russians killed by the Nazis - most of them were civilians. They also brutally raped and killed individuals in horrendous ways. They starved, burned and killed whole cities of people. There were millions of German citizens and other citizens of European nations who were killed either by the Nazis or as a result of the war effort to destroy the Nazis. Overall Adolf Hitler and the Nazis were responsible over 50 million deaths of civilian and military peoples. So I consider 50 million innocent people were killed by the Nazis or as a result of the Nazis waging war and taking over other countries.

What is the difference between innocent and not guilty?

Innocent means you are innocent of a crime.. That is you did not commit it. A court (jury/judge) will not find someone "innocent". They can't say that you did not commit a crime, they can only decide for "not guilty" if the evidence presented is enough that you are believed to have committed a crime (guilty) or not (not guilty).

Is Osama bin Laden innocent?

Innocent of what? There is no question he suggested and helped plan the attacks on the US (many and varied, not just the 9/11 attacks), as he confessed to them and took credit. Now, that being said, he is likely innocent of war crimes committed against Jews, homosexuals, Jehovah's Witnesses, the mentally ill, the criminally convicted, and Gypsies during WWII. He probably had nothing to do with the attack on Pearl Harbor 71 years ago. Stealing land and culture from Native Americans and Australian Aborigines probably wasn't his either. It is likely then that he is innocent of some things.
