This is most certainly not true, as Nazi Germany had the world's strictest animal protection laws at that time (even vivisection, making animals act in movies, and force feeding was banned). Goering stated on radio that anyone who performed vivisection would be put into a concentration camp, and so it is certainly absurd to think that the actual Hitler Youth would have been allowed to kill innocent animals.
