During the years prior to and during World War II, many young Germans joined the "Hitler Youth" group in Germany (and were encouraged to do so by many older Germans) as a result of Nazi Propaganda. Trumpeting an "Us vs. Them" theme, as well as admonishing all Germans to do their part for the nation, the Nazis were widely successful in drawing out absolute loyalty and self-sacrifice from German citizens -- including German youth.
The four organisations were the German Young People (Deutsches Jungvolk), the Hitler Youth (Hitler Jugend), the League of Young Girls (Jungmadelbund) and the League of German Girls (Bund Deutscher Madel). Boys joined the German Young People from the age of 10 until they were 14 when they joined the Hitler Youth. The girls joined the League of Young Girls at the age of 10 and at the age of 14 joined the League of German Girls.
Hitler's youth took place in Austria.
No he did not. However, most of the Hitler Youth were later taken into the army or the home defense forces and huge numbers were killed in the latter days of the war.
He targeted young people mainly because, all this was going on after the WWI and so many of the soldiers had died. So therefore if he targeted youth he would have many more soldiers. He also thought that many was the main problem for the youth, because if they had money they would buy books and read that what Hitler was saying and doing was wrong. He also wanted to keep the youth ignorant and make them think that he was doing a right thing. Everybody believed because he was like a father figure for all these young people. And adults liked how he treated young people and thought that he was actually concernd for them. He had boy scout that taught boys the basic ways of fighting as well. These were just of a few things.
It taught young children that the discrimination of others is good, and that Hitler was doing the right thing. They were being told that some bad things were actually good, and to only trust Hitler, even above their parents.
Hitler created what is known as the Hitlerjugend (Hitler Youth) in which young people were taught about Nazi ideals etc. If this is what you meant then yes, it was Hitler.
By the 1930s six out of ten young german people had joined the hitler youth.
do you mean "Hitler Youth" or when Hitler was young, please be more specific
Hitler created the Hitler Youth in order to indoctrinate the youth of Germany into believeing Nazi Ideals like Jewish people are bad. It is easy to get young children to believe anything if you tell them the same thing over and over again, that is why he created the Hitler Youth. Hitler expected that from his Hitler Youth the children would grow up with his ideals and therefore not rebel against him. He also was training the young boys in the Hitler youth for the military.
The young people and Hitler served only one purpose. The one purpose that was served was killing a lot of people that did not fit to Hitler's standards.

The purpose of the Hitler youth was to start teaching children at a young age the Nazi ways.
The purpose of the Hitler Youth was simply to indoctrinate young Germans so that they would grow up to be good Nazis; this organization did not have the task of hunting for Jews.
The Hitler youth was important to the third riech because, the people in the hitler youth would be future Nazi SS soldiers,so it was important to train them to be benefitial to germany during the war
