== == THE USA DID NOT WIN WW2. A group of nations, that included the USA WON WW2. The USA was only a part of the ALLIED NATIONS that defeated the Nazis in world war two. The Allies did NOT fight against Europe, they fought a political idea that was called NATIONAL SOCIALISM, that originated in the country of Germany. Europe is a continent, that has many different countries in it. It is not a country of it''s own. If you want to get smacked in the mouth just try to tell a Frenchman that he is a European. He will , quite rightly, tell you that he is not.

It had a superior manufacturing base that produced thousands of ships and aircraft during the war, the agricultural capacity fed the US and it Allies during that period, and it also had the technology that created the atomic bombs used at Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
Another reason may have been that the US had semi-automatic rifles like the M1 Garand while Japan Still was using turn of the century bolt action rifles.

how the allied forces beat japan in ww2Well, first the allied powers went on a campaign called "island hopping" in which they would fight battles on various islands holding military targets in the Pacific Ocean. they would have gone on forever doing this and were even planning an invasion of the main land until president roosevelt died. when Truman took office, they told him about the Manhattan project, a secret operation to gain the power of a atom bomb. when it was completed, Truman ordered to have the first bomb dropped if the Japanese did not surrender. they didn't, so we bombed them. the Japanese still did not surrender, so we dropped a second atomic bomb on the mainland. the two cities bombed were hiroshima and nagasaki. after that, the government gave in and ours basically took all there leaders out of power and replaced them with others in our favor. the leaders of the military were put on trial for war crimes, this being the first time in history that any military leaders took punishment for their warcrimes....

The question is misleading as it asks how the US "managed" to defeat Imperial Japan after Japan's sneak attack on the US Naval base in Oahu.
The Japanese lost because it did not delegate enough troops to man the Pacific islands they conquered. Too many of their troops were tied up in China. The US had more manpower, ships and airplanes which accounted for the war with japan to last about 4 years even though the nations were thousands of miles apart from each other.

The United States (alone) did not defeat Germany in WW2, it was the Allies (of which the US were a part) that achieved this.
