After the war, many Germans who had served in the German military emigrated out of Germany to many places in Europe, North America & South America in search of a better life for themselves & their family. Certainly some would have chosen Spain. They would have gone as civilians, not as soldiers.
many soldiers were afraid of the puinshments if they didnt fight, as it was a law. also due to patriotism, an the soldiers wanted their country 2 be successful in the war, many were also motivated by companionship etc

America didn't fight Britain in World War 2. They were allies. However, the number of Accidental deaths of British troops caused by the Americans enforced, "Shoot everything" training is unknown.
