The generally accepted figure is about six million. This figure was given by key SS witnesses at the Nuremberg Tribunal in 1945 and is broadly supported by all serious scholarship on the Holocaust.
5,830,000
About 78% of the Jews in the occupied or war impacted parts of Europe were killed in the Holocaust (also called The Shoa). In some countries, such as Poland and Lithuania, 90% of the Jews died or were killed.
The figure OS six million refers to the estimate total number of Jews killed by the Nazis in the Holocaust. (The total number of people killed overall in World War 2 was much higher).
The Nazis killed mainly Jews in the holocaust but also people who were 'feeble minded', 'crippled', and even POWs.
about 5.1 million gypsies, non Jews and prisoners of war, especially Russians. --- If one takes takes 11 million as the figure for the total number killed in the wider holocaust - that is including the groups listed above, and about 6 million Jews, then 6/11 would give a percentage of 54.5% Jews.
Of the 9.4 million or so European Jews prior to the Holocaust, only 3.4 million survived. Jews outside of Europe were generally untouched numerically by the Holocaust, so there were about 4.5 million Jews outside of Europe both before and after the Holocaust. This leads to a combined total of 7.9 million Jews in 1946.
The answer to that is that alot of jews were killed like mostly about 1000 people or more than that were killed.
In Holocaust there were killed 5-6.5 millions Jews. They were from all the European countries, except (or not so much) United Kingdom and Soviet Union (Russia).

Between 1938 and 1941 Germany took over and/or invaded most other European countries, and the Jews in nearly all these countries were subjected to the same kinds of laws as in Germany, and were deported and killed.

Concerning European Jews: Hitler did not just kill European Jews. During the Occupation of Tunisia, he also began killing Tunisian Jews. He would have tried to kill Moroccan Jews as well, but King Mohammed V resisted. However, he was only able to kill those Jews who lived in countries that Nazi Germany was able to conquer, which were mostly in Europe.Concerning Jew-Killing: As for why Hitler killed Jews at all, please see the Related Question below.
