Realistically, probably not. It is possible that WW2 could have been, though, had the terms of the Treaty of Versailles been somewhat more reasonable. The insistence on extremely punitive terms for Germany more or less ensured that there would be a second war.

The state of ancient Greek politics was such that it probably could not have been avoided in a way compatible with the thinking of the time. Athens and Sparta had long been rivals, and a conflict between them was probably inevitable.

Because Vietnam is the name of the country in which the war was fought. If the war was fought in Germany, it could have been called the "German War." Or in Canada, the "Canadian War", etc.
Any conflict can be avoided, if the leaders want to avoid it.
